For booking


  • How can I see if the apartment is bookable?

    You can easily find your way around on our new booking system. Just go to your desired apartment and enter the booking period. The system shows you immediately whether you can book the apartment at the desired time.

  • What if I want to book for a longer period?

    If you use one of our design apartments for professional reasons or similar. for a longer period, please contact us personally. Together we will give you the best package for your stay.

  • What happens when I have booked?

    If you have decided to book at Brittas-Ferienwohungen.de, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. It contains all important contact details and details about your stay.

  • Do I have to pay a security deposit?

    For organizational reasons, we reserve the right to charge guests from abroad as well as guests who take a long-term booking a deposit of between 100 and 500 euros. Further information can be found in our terms and conditions.

  • What other costs come to me such as a tourist tax?

    In our apartments on Sylt (per person between € 1.65 - € 3.30 depending on the season) and in Hofsgrund on the Schauinsland (per person 1.40 €) is in each case a city tax to be paid. You will receive a spa card for this, with which you can take advantage of many discounts in the region. Since 2014, the city of Freiburg has levied a 5% bed tax on the net rental price for all private travelers. This will be paid by us directly to the city of Freiburg. (Freiburg 3 in Wildtal is not affected by this tax).

  • Can I cancel a booking?

    There can always be something in between. Therefore, it is of course possible to cancel your booking in case you can not start a trip. However, depending on the time, cancellation fees may apply. Further information can be found in our terms and conditions.


To the arrival


  • Is an earlier arrival possible?

    You are welcome to organize your arrival according to your schedule. However, access to the respective apartment is usually only possible from 15 clock on the day of arrival. In some cases, an earlier access can be agreed if the apartment is "free". For this we ask you to contact us directly by phone: 49 (0) 179-80031679

  • Later arrival possible?

    Since we would like to personally welcome you to Brittas-Ferienwohungen.de, we are grateful if you keep to the agreed time to hand over the apartment. However, something can always come in between here as well. Then we would like to ask you later

  • How does the key handover take place?

    The place and time of handing over the keys of one of our apartments will be communicated to you after the booking confirmation. As a rule, key collection takes place personally at check in the booked accommodation.

  • How well are the apartments connected to public transport?

    All our apartments are great accessible by public transport. So if you prefer eco-friendly travel, you are at the right place at Brittas-Ferienwohungen.de. If you need assistance with your arrival, please contact us.

  • Is there a parking lot in the immediate vicinity?

    In most of our apartments (except Sylt) we offer you a parking space. In all our Freiburg apartments even a barrier-free underground car park with direct access to the apartment by elevator. All underground parking spaces can also be flexibly booked according to your needs.


To stay


  • Are towels and bed linen available in the apartment?

    We want to offer our guests all the freedom and only charge for the areas that you really need as a guest. Thus, we are happy to put together laundry packages (sheets, towels, bath towels, tea towels ..), which we charge per person with 15 euros. However, you are free at any time to waive this service and bring your own laundry. Please let us know how you decide before arrival. A little tip for you - our duvets have the dimensions 130x200cm and the mattresses 2x 90x200cm (in Freiburg 3 Wildtal & on Sylt) and 2x 80x200cm (in Freiburg 1 Stühlinger, Freiburg 2 Wiehre and in the Black Forest loft)

  • Is there Wi-Fi?

    Of course Brittas-Ferienwohungen.de is also connected to the world and offers you as a guest during your stay free wifi. The access data you receive upon arrival. Further information about the conditions can be found in our terms and conditions.

  • Is there a baby cot?

    We love babies. Therefore, all our apartments are equipped with a cot, some additionally with a high chair, which we are happy to provide free of charge. It is also a matter of course that we do not charge any additional guest fee for our smallest guests at Brittas-Ferienwohungen.de. Please let us know in advance if you need these extra so that we can prepare everything for your arrival.

  • Is the apartment equipped with a coffee machine, etc ..?

    We also need a good cup of coffee in the morning to get going. Therefore, of course, all our holiday home appliances are equipped with a coffee machine (and a few first aid Senseo pads). Of course we also have the good old filter coffee machine for classic lovers.

  • Is there a bakery / supermarket nearby?

    Since almost all our apartments (except for our Black Forest idyll on the Schauinsland) are centrally located yet quiet, you will find everything for your daily needs in the immediate vicinity - whether bakery, supermarket or a delicious restaurant. Need some tips? Talk to us and we will give you some insider addresses.

  • Is it allowed to smoke in the apartment?

    All our apartments are not gray apartments - so that allergy sufferers, asthmatics and children feel comfortable with us. Of course you are allowed to smoke on the balcony, if you make sure that there are no impurities and no guests in surrounding apartments are bothered. In addition, make sure that no smoke enters the apartment.


For departure


  • What do I do when leaving?

    On the day of departure you may use our apartment until 11 o'clock. After that, it must be vacated so that our cleaning team can prepare the apartment for the next guests on time. Key collection takes place on departure as previously agreed with Brittas-Ferienwohungen.de.

  • Who will take over the final cleaning?

    Since we want to offer all our guests an equally high standard, also in terms of cleanliness in our apartments, the final cleaning is carried out by experienced staff. If you find something here that is not your satisfaction, please contact us immediately so we can fix it as soon as possible.

  • Can I buy a gift certificate?

    We love presents and little surprises. If you have specific wishes please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to create a suitable coupon for a loved one or take one or the other small welcome surprise for a special occasion in our apartments for you.

  • What if I forgot something in your apartment?

    Now something can forget - usually charging cable, night lights or a few treasures in the closet. We make sure that all your belongings will find their way back to you after your departure and will gladly send them to you by mail.
